Our commitment to your privacy
Konnach is built privacy-first. We do not collect, store or transmit your business data to any server. Your ledger lives on your device only. This policy explains what little data we do touch — and exactly why.
1. Data we collect
Konnach does not require an account, an email, or a phone number to function. Your clients, suppliers, transactions and cashbook entries are stored only in the local SQLite database on your device. We have no copy of them. The only optional data we receive is anonymous usage analytics (crash reports, screen views) via Firebase, which can be disabled in settings.
2. How we use data
Anonymous analytics (when enabled) are used solely to fix crashes and prioritise features. We never sell, rent or share data with third parties. We never use your data to train AI models.
3. Local storage & security
All ledger data is stored in an on-device SQLite database. Your PIN is held in iOS Secure Enclave (or Android equivalent). Biometric data (Face ID / Touch ID) never leaves the device — Konnach only receives a yes/no signal from the OS.
4. Backup & export
If you choose to export data (JSON, CSV, PDF), the resulting file is created on your device and shared via the OS share sheet. Konnach has no visibility into where you send it.
5. Children
Konnach is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Advertising
The free tier of Konnach may display non-personalised banner ads via Google AdMob. You can remove ads with the optional Premium subscription.
7. Your rights
Because we have no account on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete. To erase all data, simply delete the app — every byte is wiped from your device.
8. Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes are also surfaced inside the app on next launch.
